Stewardship Advocates

Stewardship Advocates was founded to advance the understanding and the practice of stewardship in the Orthodox Church.

Stewardship Advocates understands stewardship as the voluntary and cheerful offering to God of time, talents and resources. It also understands stewardship as the ethical management of the household of God. For this reason Stewardship Advocates offers an array of services to assist a parish or church organization to develop the necessary human and financial resources to fulfill its mission.

Stewardship Advocates assists leaders within the Orthodox Church to advance their organizations by providing services in professional nonprofit philanthropic development theory and methodology such as utilized by universities, national charities and major cultural institutions.

The services of Stewardship Advocates include: strategic planning, parish council and board development, annual giving, capital campaign planning studies, executive capital campaign consulting, major gifts programs, endowment programs, fundraising position analyses and philanthropic audits.
