Jesus had more to say about money and possessions than He had to say about prayer. It is helpful to priests and others providing pastoral care to families to appreciate how differently each “class” sees themselves and the world. This is especially helpful in a capital campaign where discussions with the very wealthy can determine whether or not a campaign is successful.
