William (Bill) Marianes: Igniting the Flame of True Orthodox Stewardship
Bill is a partner in the Atlanta office of a 900+ lawyer international law firm practicing in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, business succession planning and church matters. He studied psychology, organizational behavior and strategic planning in graduate school. He is blessed to have over 30+ years of hands-on experience working with all types of national and local nonprofit organizations – Christian churches and schools, parishes, Metropolises, Dioceses and Archdioceses.
He has been blessed to work on capital campaigns that raised over $100 million, annual campaigns that raised over $25 million and worked with many highly qualified nonprofit development consultants. More importantly, he has dedicated a significant portion of the last 35 years, and every available weekend for the last five years, traveling over 150,000 miles all over the United States to work with individual church communities, clergy and faithful to understand and implement true stewardship in their own lives and the lives of their parishes.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way, Archdiocese Council of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, Metropolis Council of the Metropolis of Atlanta, numerous parishes and Christian school boards. He has assisted these organizations extensively through strategic planning and stewardship training. Best of all, Bill is a dedicated and faithful Orthodox Christian who fulfills his calling to serve God through this ministry.
